Today Sound Effects Search is launching two sound library lists.
Currently, there are over 323 Web shops, and almost 4972 independent sound FX libraries.
These two lists were created to help sound pros find the audio collections they need, and to give creators more visibility. This post will explain a bit more about the lists and how you can join them.
About The Lists
Right now, the lists are simply tables. They display everything that is floating around in the sound effects community. That’s just for now. We plan to improve the lists in the future by making them searchable, providing more stats, audio previews, and so on.
However, the main focus of this will be simplicity. There will be no images. There will be no promotion. The design will remain basic. Why? We want Sound Effects Search to be a tool to effortlessly find new independent sound libraries.
Using the Lists
Using the sound library Web shop list is pretty basic. There are only two columns.
The sound library list has more info. Some tips:
- Sort the list by clicking on the headers.
- Sort by category to find types of sounds more quickly.
- Sort by price to find free collections.
- Click the sound collection name to visit its home Web shop.
As noted, more improvements to this page are coming soon.
