Web shop HISS and a ROAR has just released an interesting new sound clip collection: Mechanism (533 sounds, 20.4 gigabytes, $179.00).
The metadata-enriched sound bundle totals over 20 gigabytes, and features grinders, springwound devices, workshops, technical tools, hand tools, a sewing machine, electric tools, and rotary devices.
The collection was captured at 96 kHz/24-bit by noted community field recordist Tim Prebble. He used a variety of microphones (MKH 8040ST, MKH 8050, AKG D112, contact microphones), resulting in clear, close machinery sound effects. Check out the SoundCloud preview:

Prebble has produced 30 sound fx collections ranging from rivers, lakes, and beaches to vegetable violence, swishes, and tortured wood, and much more. Browse all of his collections on Sound Effects Search.
The collection is temporarily on sale for $99.00 until March 6, a savings of $80.00. Check out the Mechanism sound fx bundle.
