Sound fx publisher Boom Library has just released a new sound collection: Tropical Forests (300+ sounds, 37 GB, $299.00).
The collection is the work of noted field recordist Gordon Hempton. It is offered in two packages: stereo (153 sounds, $219.00), and 5.0 (300+ sounds, $299.00). The sound fx library is an evocative offering packed with rain on leaves, howling monkeys, twittering birds, and much more.
The 48 kHz/24-bit atmospheres were captured from cloud foests across Ecuador, Brazil, Belize, Australia, and Sri Lanka. Check out the SoundCloud audio preview, it’s incredibly evocative.
The collection weighs in at 153 sounds and 10 gigabytes for the stereo pack, and 300 sounds at over 37 gigabytes for the 5.0 collection. All clips are embedded with Soundminer metadata. Both packages are 20% off until February 27th, so today’s your last chance to grab the discount.
