Sound Effects Search now includes new Web store Collected Transients. Collecting the recordings of sound designer Stosh Tuszynski, the initial offerings include We Are The People (57 sounds, 1.54 gigabytes, $25.00), MaK – Mouse and Keyboard (1859 sounds, 80 megabytes, $25.00), and Machine Emanation (70 sounds, 11.7 gigabytes, $30.00).
We Are The People features crowd chant field recordings from the 2012 NATO protests in Chicago. The library highlights clear, clean recordings with distinct language at close perspective recorded from within the crowd itself. Check out samples from the sound library on its SoundCloud page. The package is priced at $25.00 for 57 sounds in 1.54 gigabytes of recordings.
Collected Transients tackles office sound fx in MaK – Mouse and Keyboard. The collection of keyboard, mice, and touchscreen device clips is fashioned as a Kontakt Instrument, aimed to cut back the time editing individual, finicky elements. It features a selection of velocity layers and varied takes split into pressing and releasing. This totals a massive 1859 sounds for $25.00.
Finally, Machine Emanation is a sound library of contact microphone recordings of tools. Collected Transients recorded a variety of machinery from band saws, bench grinders and more in a number of performances. Captured at 192 kHz with Barcus Berry 4000 and JrF C-Series microphones, the collection includes 3 hours of clips totalling 11.7 gigabytes for $30.00.
