My own Web shop Airborne Sound revealed two new sound effect collections earlier this week: Elements: Glass (516 sounds, 563 megabytes, $24.00) and Elements: Metal (1755 sounds, 1.31 gigabytes, $39.00).
The two new libraries include multiple perspectives captured from near, medium far, and distant microphones. Highlighting both aggressive and subtle takes, the Glass and Metal sound libraries feature multiple performaces of glass destruction (breaks, debris, hits, moves, slides) and metal Foley (debris, drops, hits, moves, rolling, and sliding on concrete and dirt). Also included are bonus processed takes and layered compositions.
All tracks are neatly organized by prop type and performance both in folders and in over 15 fields of Soundminer metadata.
Read a blog post about the two new sound fx libraries. It shares the idea behind the collections, and how they were recorded.
