Sound Effects Search has just added a fresh Web shop: Soundholder. The new independent sound fx library recently announced their first offering: Retro Games (656 sounds, 504 megabytes, $30.00).
The work of sound designer David Moroz, Soundholder elaborates on their aim for the sound effects community:
[our] goal is to deliver high quality sounds for game developers, sound designers and people involved in any kind of work where sound matters.
I understand the role of the sound in creating unique user experience and that’s why I came up with Soundholder.
Their first sound library, Retro Games, features 8-bit sound design samples created to “add some character to your old-school 8-bit game.” Check out the hits, trills, explosions, selects, and more in the SoundCloud audio preview montage:
