Web store AntiSample took an interesting approach with their latest sound effects library, Glass Door Slides (59 sounds, 113 megabytes, $10.00). The 96 kHz/24-bit mono sound library is recorded with a contact microphone. The result is a collection of immediate-sounding rumbles, shudders, and hollow clunks. AntiSample suggests the takes be used to supplement other effects as an aid to further sound design.
