Web shop Boom Library has released a new sound library recorded by noted field recordist Gordon Hempton: Wetlands (196 sounds, 24 gigabytes, €299.00 on sale for €239.20).
The new sound fx bundle features recordings gathered from “standing fresh water,” including marshes, lakes, ponds, and swamps. Boom Library describes the collection on its store page:
Wetlands encloses recordings of wildlife and scenery at different day times and intensities. Are you looking for recordings of birds playing and hurrying across the water? Late evening frog concerts? Rainfall lapping on the lake? The slap of a beaver tail? Let these examples give you a fair idea of what this beautiful collection has on its great content list.
The collection is offered in 5.0 as well a as stereo version at 48 kHz/24-bit. Each sound is labelled with Soundminer metadata.
The package includes frogs, single birds as well as flocks, insects, rain, and more. The five-minute audio demo shares the diversity of the collection.
The Wetlands sound library is on sale for 20% off until September 4th. The stereo version is €143.20 (reduced from €179.00), and the surround and stereo package is €239.20 (reduced from €299.00).
