Web shop ShapingWaves has supplemented their existing ambience sound libraries with a new atmosphere sound library: Athens Rooftop (9 sounds, 3.7 gigabytes, $29.00).
Recorded from the top of a two-floor apartment on a side street in the Greek capital, Athens Rooftop includes 9 substantial takes (8 – 21 minutes long) of the city. The recordings include a variety of textures to showcase the sound of the city at busy and calm times during the day, and at night.
Designed to provide general city ambience, the collection features city drone, construction and restaurant sounds, with some takes including birds, AC, and insects.
