Today’s post features a new sound library from Denmark’s Sonic Salute Web shop: Falling Objects (89 sounds, 1000+ clips, $45.00).
The package features the sound of a wide variety of objects dropping in four distinct spaces. The sound collection is part of a special offer from Sonic Salute, good until next Friday, September 25th.
Falling Objects was designed to create a broad selection of object performances:
- Dropping.
- Throwing.
- Dragging.
- Moving.
- Kicking,
- Scraping.
Sonic Salute recorded these performances in four unique environments to give a different sense of room to the clips:
- Close.
- Off-screen.
- Large hall with crashes or grainy debris.
- “Next door” or off-stage recordings.
The sound library offers over 1000 sounds in 89 clips, recorded at 96 kHz/24-bit using Sennheiser MKH 8040, and MKH 8020 and MKH 30 microphones tracked to Sound Devices recorders.
