Web shop Sound Ex Machina has released a new international ambience collection: Sounds of Istanbul (80 sounds, 11.4 gigabytes, $59).
The collection of field recordings features extended takes from the capital of Turkey. The eighty files are 17 – 21 minutes in length, and total over 360 minutes of atmospheres.
Judging from the library photos, the collection appears to have been recorded on a Zoom H6.
Tracks include:
- Call to prayer.
- Harbour ambiences.
- Market crowds.
- Interior crowds.
- Museum crowds.
- Sirens.
And much more. There’s a lot of distinctive texture in the tracks that provides a solid impression of Istanbul.
