French sound design and field recording collective Red Libraries has revealed their lasted collection: Everyday Life in Paris (118 sounds, 14.7 gigabytes, $135.00).
As you’d expect, the collection features the daily sounds of the French capital. It includes transportation sounds of the Paris Metro, chatter in cafés, courtyards, traffic, and more. The team designed the library as a flexible collection that could double as other European locales.
The clips were captured at 96 kHz/24-bit using a Schoeps CMC M/S array with two Neumann KM 184 mics, tracked via a SQN4S mixer to a Sound Devices 744T recorder.
