Sound collection creators began 2016 with a substantial amount of library releases. Understandably, December was a bit slow for new audio collections. However, shortly after the new year, designers revealed 12 new sound fx libraries in less than a week. I’ll summarize them in today’s post.
Cornwall Water – Rivers, Streams, Water Laps
The folks over at Arrowhead Audio have released the first in their line premium sound collections: Cornwall Water (26 sounds, 900 megabytes, £15.00).
The library features water laps, swirling water in rock pools, brooks and streams, and more, all recorded in St. Ives/Carbis Bay, Cornwall, UK.

Lake Monster – Sound Design Vocals
Debsound compliments their growing offerings of sound design libraries with a new creature sound library: Lake Monster (30 sounds, 10 megabytes, $9.90).
The collection features a number of grunts and watery gurgles, which you can hear here:
People at the Show – Concert Fan Reactions
A new sound library of crowd reactions has been revealed by Sphéric Collection: People at the Show (44 sounds, 2.2 gigabytes, $75.00). Some crowd reaction libraries feel planned and performed. People at the Show is different. It includes natural crowd cheers, shouts, and reactions, all captured in ambisonic sound.
Vaeyan III – Mixed Sound Effects
Eiravaein Works adds to their Vaeyan series with a fresh release of mixed sound effects: Vaeyan III (423 sounds, $21.00). A selected list of fx includes:
- Buzzes and beeps.
- Mouth noises.
- A German train.
- Medical devices.

High Tech Interface Sounds (282 sounds, 650 megabytes, $30.00) offers what the name suggests: an offering of crisp digital UI sounds. Here’s a sample:
Finally, Lesser Vibes rounds out their releases with the Automatic Umbrellas collection (159 sounds, 168 megabytes, $20.00). Listen here:
