Web store SoundBits continues to add to their growing body of work with the release of Handwriting (841 sounds, 818 megabytes, €29.75 on sale for €23.80).
The sound collection tackles the subject of writing thoroughly by offering samples from a wide variety of writing instruments:

- Pencils.
- Brushes.
- Chalk.
- Crayon.
- Carving.
…and much more. The takes sound quite clean (it’s not easy to record something as quiet as writing without introducing hiss), and include a mix of performances from fast (the majority of samples) with a few slow takes. You can hear that in the SoundCloud preview:
