Hello everyone, it has been some time since I have posted here. A combination of a lack of time and the explosion of new sound libraries has prevented me from updating the blog posts as regularly I would have liked.
I’ve now caught up. The last few weeks I’ve been posting regular updates on Twitter (@sfxsearch). That has included mentioning each library as it is released with its quantity, price, and so on.
Embedded Tweets
Not all of you have or want Twitter accounts, of course. So, for now I’ll be mirroring those Tweets here on the blog, something like this:
Sound designers @SampleTraxx release sci-fi/horror #soundlibrary "Memories" (280 clips, 2.2 GB, $43) https://t.co/0YVeqqy9EM #sounddesign
— Sound Effects Search (@sfxsearch) November 10, 2016
That will give a peek at the libraries launched, with links to search engines search results here on the site.
So, now everyone who follows the blog, subscribes to the newsletter, or follows the RSS feed will be up to date as well. There are plenty of libraries still emerging. I’ll collect them into a daily or weekly post so your inbox won’t be overloaded.
New Stats
I have added some new stats behind the scenes, including:
- Variable types of metadata.
- Total duration of sound libraries (where applicable).
- Keywords.
Each of these stats are currently being updated for previous sound libraries, and will be available in the search engine in the future.
As always, thank you for subscribing, following me on Twitter, retweeting, and sharing.
