From time to time, we feature sound libraries or publishers that have caught our eye. Today we’ll be showcasing a two-post series about the Sonik Sound Library and their collections in our “spotlight series”.

The Sonik Sound Library
The Sonik Sound Library was created by a team of Spanish sound designers and field recordists. The product line is grouped into two types: typical sound libraries as well as “spatial” collections designed for VR, AR, video games, etc. In the first part of our series we’ll look at the typical sound libraries.
Let’s take a closer look at some of the offerings from Sonik Sound Library:
European Small Car
The European Small Car sound library is a specialized bundle of specific sound effects designed for automotive enthusiasts and filmmakers. From engine revs to gear shifts, radio-cassette clicks to windshield wiper sweeps, every sound has been meticulously captured using high-quality microphones and field recorders. Edited and mastered with attention to detail, these recordings are perfect for adding an authentic touch to any driving scene.
General Ambiences
For those seeking to set the scene with atmospheric backgrounds, the General Ambiences collection offers a rich array of stereo soundscapes designed for cinematic immersion. Recorded using various techniques and microphone patterns, each ambient track is carefully crafted to evoke a specific mood or setting. Whether it’s the bustling streets of a city or the tranquil serenity of nature, these backgrounds provide the ample sonic backdrops for any visual project.
