In today’s spotlight, we are featuring another release from Dramatic Cat: the “Rome – Ambisonic” sound collection. The “Rome – Ambisonic” collection is a meticulously recorded voyage through the vibrant and varied ambiences of Italy’s ancient capital.

Throughout a runtime of 255 minutes, the collection transports listeners from the hustle and bustle of crowded markets to the serene whispers of tranquil alleyways. The team designed the recordings as a series of sonic snapshots, all with the aim of capturing the essence of the locales – whether while weaving through dense traffic on Rome’s iconic cobblestone streets or soaking in the calm of its lush parks.
The collection was captured on an Ambisonic microphone to use its 360˙ soundfield to recreate a rich, immersive experience. The Ambisonic recordings are delivered in AmbiX, stereo, and a decoded 5.0 format (L/R/C/Ls/Rs).
Featured locations include lively ambiances from a bustling market, the serene backdrop of a calm park, and the dense sonic texture of a crowded landmark, and others.
