Hello all. I’m sharing a quick note today about changes to the website. At the advice of our legal counsel, we’ve recently updated three pages here. We’re required by law to let you know about the changes 30 days before they take effect. So, today’s post is a brief notice about the changes:
In short, the pages clarify things and provide more detail. While the pages add much for text, they are done in the spirit of the previous pages.

Today’s post features two new sound libraries, and three additional “Black Friday” sale.
Today we have new sales announcements, and a fresh section: sound fx library sales and raffles.
We have a new ambience library and a number of Black Friday sales.
American Thanksgiving and Black Friday are just around the calendar corner. Dozens of sales emerge at this time of the year, including some great deals for sound effect libraries.
I just added a new page to the search engine to help you find the best clip collection deals: a Sound Library Sales page.
Hello everyone, it has been some time since I have posted here. A combination of a lack of time and the explosion of new sound libraries has prevented me from updating the blog posts as regularly I would have liked.
I’ve now caught up. The last few weeks I’ve been posting regular updates on Twitter (@sfxsearch). That has included mentioning each library as it is released with its quantity, price, and so on.
I’m amazed that in less than a year Sound Effects Search has added over 300 new independent sound effect libraries to the search engine. That’s an astounding amount of productivity from the field recording and sound design communities.

Noted firearms field recordist Frank Bry has released an update to his Gunscapes HD Pro sound fx library (571 sounds, 4500+ takes, 3.3 gigabytes, $200).
The recent bonus sounds add 167 clips of over 1500 takes in an additional gigabyte of 96 kHz/24-bit audio for no additional cost.
