Artillery Fire Sound Effects

Hear the terrifying, pounding blasts from howitzers firing. Feel the explosive shockwaves from a military siege weapons barrage. It’s all there in Airborne Sound’s Artillery Fire sound effects library.

The sound library showcases shots from World War II-era Canadian-American M101A1 C3 (aka M2A2) and British Ordnance QF 25-pounder howitzers. The salvos feature a sharp explosive blast with a rippling echo and beefy rumble. Great care was taken to provide completely clean, sustained tails

The artillery fire sound effects are recorded from up to 15 perspectives (6 nearby and 9 at roughly 150m distant) and 27 channels using high-SPL mono, stereo, and Ambisonics microphones in multiple formats: mid-side, boundary, omnidirectional, supercardiod, and AB.
