Announcing a New Vehicle Library Designed for Game Audio “Audi A4 B8 2.0 TDI”

New Web shop Soundholder has released their second sound library Audi A4 B8 2.0 TDI (78 files, 2.09 gigabytes, $50).

I receive many emails from game audio pros looking for vehicle sound libraries cut with fixed RPMs. This often requires a specialized field recording process. Soundholder’s latest collection delivers 78 files “prepared for games with loops of single RPMs, and accelerations from 0 to 6k RPM, and from 6k to 0 in specified time, for granular synthesis.”

Captured with a blend of gear (Oktava MK012, Zoom H6, Røde NTG3, Shure SM57, Røde M5), the sound library features over 55 minutes of engine, Foley, and exterior car sound effect takes.
